I personally don't consider a shoulder strap a must but I can't decide. If you have either, what do you like/dislike? It is crafted from ultra-soft merino-sourced shearling, elevated with smooth leather trims and gold . I bought my lv and I can decorate it as I choose and not spends hundred for their precious speedy b strap which adds so much extra vachetta! the mono strap is good and not vachetta dirty or thick and easily put away and not see the side vachetta that a speedy b has I have had two Speedy B bags and sold both because I did not like the way they looked when worn on the shoulder. It is a personal preference, of course, but I love the look of the classic Speedy more than the Speedy B. Both straps are 16 mm.
