Say hello to the Panerai Luminor Submersible 1950 3 Days Automatic Oro Rosso, reference PAM01164, an updated version of the PAM00684, which was, for all intents and purposes, the same watch but with an inferior water-resistance rating of 100 meters. Compared to the older P.9000 caliber the P.9010 is noticeably thinner and has more jewels, 31 in number compared to 28. The updated P.9010 also has full dual-link balance springs resulting in better protection to the movement from external shocks.
The watch is powered by a special version of Panerai’s in-house automatic Caliber P.9010 movement called the P.9010/EL. It has two mainspring barrels (in addition to the four barrels for the light system) providing a full three days of power reserve.
